The set comes with two mini sized Sugar lip treatments: the original and the rose tinted balm.

The box isn't super big. It fits right in the palm of my hand.

Here it is compared to a regular sized lip balm. It isn't too bad for a sample size!
Now for the review: I absolutely LOVE these lip balms. The consistency is almost like that of Vaseline-- Non sticky and moisturizing. They smell just like sweet lemon candy when you apply them, which I love. I haven't noticed a flavor or certain taste to them, which is what I prefer. I like to use the original before bedtime and before I apply lip color in the morning, and keep the tinted balm in my purse to use throughout the day. As for the tinted balm, the color is so perfectly sheer that it's easy to apply without a mirror and can be worn during the day. There are other colors available on Sephora as well, and I'm sure they're just as awesome as the rose balm. I'm considering buying the full size when I run out, but I'm not sure if the steep price is worth it. What do you all think?

Well Happy Birthday Megan! Coincidentally, it was my Birthday as well this month and I got the Sephora birthday gift too ;) I really liked it but I have to tell you that I didn't like it's staying power. (Just between the two of us it took me awhile to figure out it was a screw off... not pop off cap) Lol
ReplyDeleteThank you. :)
ReplyDeleteI can agree with the staying power, especially during the day! I notice it wears off faster than regular chapstick.
and OMG! You had that problem with the cap too? haha :) I kept trying to pull the cap off and was wondering why they would make it so hard to take off. I thought I was the only one :)
Hi! I always use vaseline because I found it to be most effective but this lip balm sounds promising...I have to check it out. Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteyour photos are looking amazing, m! so glad you got your dslr. which one did you get, and which lens are you using for these photos? the bokeh is amazing. i could hardly tell you are new to dslr. :) very nice, m!
ReplyDeleteVaseline is definitely great, but these give you the feel of Vaseline with a prettier touch. Definitely try them out!
ReplyDeletehi jasmine! I am using my Canon EOS Rebel T3 with just the lens it came with... the numbers slipped my mind! I have been practicing with my pics. I'm glad you like them! :) thanks!
