I really wish the anchor shirt wasn't heather gray, but I suppose I can't think of any other color the sequin anchor would go with! Also, if you're looking for 3" inseam shorts with a higher rise, definitely try these from J. Crew. Honestly, I have no idea how I wore low-rise short shorts in high school. These are still short, but still classy!

I was just in J. Crew today and thinking the same thing! I like a little nautical touch in my closet once in a while, but I don't know if I would want to be covered in anchors. Considering I've never once been on a sailboat, I would feel like a fraud or something. Anywho, I do like the combo of sequins and anchors, though; it's sort of a funny little juxtaposition!

ReplyDeleteThey're actually a "mid-rise"! I used to wear such low rise shorts that these are higher than what I was used to back in the day. Haha! So much more comfy though. :)
