Classic Prep

My two favorite words to describe my favorite style: Classic Prep. While this outfit could probably use some more preppiness, (a school boy blazer, perhaps?) it would probably look a little silly in my small town with no fashion sense.

I must belong on the East Coast. (Or do they even dress like this regularly over there?) Either way, I don't think you can go wrong with a classic pleated skirt and an oxford shirt. Oh, and never forget the pearls!

    And yes, they really do dress like this over here. :) Yours truly, a southern California girl through and through, feels downright sloppy next to some of these East Coast ladies!

  5. You can get a clear acrylic spray from Hobby Lobby and spray it over your watch (or cheap costume jewelry) and it will keep the finish on it! Very easy solution!

  8. You'd look so cute in New England. Boston, perhaps? I've long thought I should move somewhere to match my clothes, but for now I just get lots of weird looks at the mall because I'm not wearing running shorts like they're acceptable in public.
