I must belong on the East Coast. (Or do they even dress like this regularly over there?) Either way, I don't think you can go wrong with a classic pleated skirt and an oxford shirt. Oh, and never forget the pearls!

My poor Fossil watch is fading. It gets worn every single day!

Skirt: LC Lauren Conrad (Fall 2011, old)
Shirt: Lands' End Canvas, sz 0
Belt: Target
Shoes: Tory Burch "Caroline"
Bag: H&M (May still be in stores)
Pearls: Borrowed from grandma
Whew! It's finally the weekend! Have a great one. :)
Gorgeous look! One of my faves. :)
ReplyDeleteSO chic! Love this outfit.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! You look great!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, they really do dress like this over here. :) Yours truly, a southern California girl through and through, feels downright sloppy next to some of these East Coast ladies!

I must belong in the East Coast then! Haha, I do love me some California casual style though. :)
Deletevery classic :) and you seem to be getting some good wear out of the tb flats!! they're so cute. worth the splurge!
ReplyDeleteDEFINITELY worth the splurge! though I fear I wear them much too often... I think it's time for a different pair! :)
DeleteYou can get a clear acrylic spray from Hobby Lobby and spray it over your watch (or cheap costume jewelry) and it will keep the finish on it! Very easy solution!

Loove pleated skirts...This is a perfect outfit for work! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou'd look so cute in New England. Boston, perhaps? I've long thought I should move somewhere to match my clothes, but for now I just get lots of weird looks at the mall because I'm not wearing running shorts like they're acceptable in public.
ReplyDeletegorgeous pleats! lovely neutral colors, and loving your aviators. you look amazing, megan.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog today and I love it! And as a Yankee girl who went to Prep School for 7 years (I hope that gives me the credentials to say this) but yes, you do hit the New England Classic Prep style right on the head :-) I'm excited to continue watching your blog!
