So, you probably saw that I wore olive green in my last post and raved about it. Since then, I've been buying quite a few olive green pieces, including this one!

Dress: Target, sz S (I could've probably used an XS)
Belt: From another skirt
Shoes: Tory Burch "Sally 2" wedges
Bag: eBay (buy here)

Which brings me to what's next on my list-- Every girl should own a shirt dress. I can't believe I never jumped on this idea until now, but I didn't think about it until this (olive green!) dress caught my eye. My ever-so-stylish grandma wears shirt dresses quite often, so it just goes to show you how classic and timeless these pieces are. You can wear them to work or dress them down for the weekend. Super versatile and classy... my favorite.

Does this bag look familiar? Just like my replica of the J. Crew bubble necklace (seen here), I've been coming across so many replicas of designer bags on eBay. This one in particular is quite similar to the exclusive Hermes Birkin Bag, but with slight differences, of course.

Lastly, here is the debut of my new Tory Burch's... cognac peep-toe wedges that I had been lusting over for a couple months. It's another investment piece, which of course matches with many outfits and works for many occasions. :) Once you start wearing higher quality all-leather shoes, its really hard to go back to anything else. Anyone else agree?
Lovely olive dress Megan! An u look simply gorgeous ! :) I have a similar shirt dress from Mango, in khaki green color.
ReplyDeleteLoved your shoes, that r so trendy and yes it's hard to go back to other shoes once u get into these.
Aren't you afraid of those bracelets to ruin your rose watch!? ;)
i was just thinking the same thing about shoes the other day!
ReplyDeletei agree - once you go into nice shoes, it is really hard to go the other way! love olive on you - it really suits you! xox P

As a former equestrian, I've always had really nice leather boots out of necessity. When I finally jumped on the leather (equestrian style?) boot bandwagon, they had to fit perfectly and be high quality leather.
ReplyDeleteYep, once you get used to nice leather, nothing else comes close =]
Love the bag! How is the quality? Does it feel cheap/fake or does it look and feel nice? The price is so amazing I feel like it must be too good to be true! Would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you!
ReplyDeletePS loooove the dress too. Looks great on you!
It looks/feels just a bit on the cheap side, but it's not too different from something you'd buy at Forever 21! It definitely doesn't look like real leather, but hey, what can you expect from a cheap bag? :) There are so many different replicas out there on eBay, and they're all about the same quality. Definitely give it a try though! :)
DeleteThanks for the info! It sure photographs well. :) I'll check it out for sure.
DeleteGorgeous dress, and the cognac accessories are perfect. :)
ReplyDeleteShirt dresses are the first dress I felt comfortable wearing ... probably because they are not flouncy or fussy. In other words, they're classic. :)
I looooove me a good shirtdress. I wore one on the blog just this week, too. Great minds think alike, or something like that, ya? :)
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely, and the deal on that bag is enviable!
I love shirt dress! I actually have an H&M green shirt dress very similar to yours :) Great style!
