It's a bit weird-- Every time I'm out shopping, I'm always attracted to weekend pieces more often than work-appropriate clothes. To be honest, my mind is always somewhere else. I'm buying pieces for vacations and travels that probably won't happen anytime soon. And buying work clothes... just seems so "blah", even though that's what I wear everyday. I feel like whenever I see a piece that reminds me of somewhere I'd rather be-- On a plane, at the beach, in a big city-- I want to buy it. Does anyone else feel like that?
Okay, enough with my ranting. Here's an outfit with the same skirt I wore in my polka dot sweater post. :)

ReplyDeleteI used to feel the opposite, like I was always focused on work and did not have enough casual clothes. So once I started getting more casual things, I feel almost balanced. :)

ReplyDeleteI actually really like shopping for fun biz-cas clothes. But now that I'm about to head back to class, I have to remind myself, "Sarah, you do not need another pencil skirt..." because who knows the next time I'll get to wear it! I'm a big fan of that bow print though!

I feel you. I hate buying work clothes! Even when I do buy work clothes I feel like I have a better way to wear them that isn't work related. ahh such is life.
