I've bought a number of things from ASOS. I think sizing depends on the fabric/fit of the item. For dresses with zippers (non-jersey fabric) they tend to be true to size. The stretchier fabric items fit a bit looser. The website coverts the UK sizes to US sizes. For me, the conversions are pretty accurate but I usually buy two sizes of the same item to be on the safe side. After all, it's free return shipping. :)
