For now, I'm working on my new business project-- Chic for a Week.
It's just like Rent the Runway or Bag Borrow or Steal... except for designer shoes.
So now, you can rent a designer pair of shoes for a fraction of the price. You'll be Chic... for a whole week!
Chic for a Week just launched and I've worked out as many kinks as I could. I'd love if you all would check it out and even place an order for a rental!
At the moment, I'm offering the Tory Burch Caroline flat (my all-time favorite) in three sizes. And I need YOUR help in deciding what shoes to buy next. Please let me know what designers and shoes you'd like to see on Chic for a Week! :)

Such a lovely Idea...it will work out.xx

thank you :)
DeleteWhat a great idea! Can't wait for a larger selection of styles and sizes.
ReplyDeleteMore styles are slowly but surely on the way! :)
DeleteHow do you ensure people will return them? (Or return them in fine condition)
ReplyDeleteI love this idea but probably couldn't afford it :(
Though it'd be great to try out a pair of new shoes to see how you like them. Is there any thoughts for an option to buy them out at the end of the week if you fall in love?
On the site, it states that insurance is built into the price.
DeleteCongratulations, and I wish you the best. Once you get it up and running, I would love to feature you on my site.
I know that this is reaching, but I hope that you consider classic Louboutin pumps.
Like Rent the Runway or BBOS, we essentially run off trust that people will take care of the shoes and return them on time. Insurance is included for normal wear and tear, but if major irreparable damage is done to the shoes, then the customer would have to pay for them.
DeleteI do like the idea of buying the shoes if you love them, and that will definitely be on my idea list for the future of Chic for a Week!
Also, Lena, CL's are DEFINITELY going to be available for rent in the future. :) I'm super excited to get those in when I can!
DeleteThank you so much for your support! :)
I might not rent some of the lesser brands. But I'd totally rent a pair of Louboutins.
DeleteI can totally see people using this as a service for sort of "special occasion" shoes. That'd be great.
what a fun idea! I never heard of anything like this before! xo
